Our mission here at The Bridge is to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. When we say “for the sake of the world,” that’s our call to make a difference for the kingdom of God. We believe that knowing God is followed by sharing God with others, and serving on a team at The Bridge is one of the ways you can make a difference in the faith of others around you.

You are uniquely made with an equally unique impact to make. When you serve on a Bridge Team, you link arms with us on mission to reach the world for Jesus and create the future of the church for the next generation.

We’re better with you. Are you in?

Connections

On this team, we help people feel at home before they know it’s home. We don’t just hold doors—we create space for people to belong. People are looking for more than a smile; they’re looking for a place where they can feel safe, seen, and known. We get the opportunity to set the table for life change to occur. Description of Ministry Welcome people home - helping everyone feel at home before they know it’s home. Create spaces of belonging - more than holding doors, we build connection and comfort. See and value people - making sure each person feels safe, seen, and known. Set the table for life change - preparing hearts and environments for God to move. Model authentic hospitality - reflecting the love of Christ through every interaction. Serving Opportunities Greeting Team This team does whatever it takes to make people feel at home by greeting guests with a warm smile and offering information and directions to guests as needed. This team is positioned at the outside entrance and auditorium doors. Team members should arrive 30 minutes before service for the team huddle, be in position until 10 minutes after the service begins, and return to their post until 10 minutes after the service ends. First Time Guest Tent This team provides first time guests with an authentic and intentional welcome at our guest tents. They capture their information, answer any questions, and walk them inside or to kids check-in. Team members should arrive 30 minutes before service for the team huddle, be in position until 10 minutes after the service begins, and return to their post until 10 minutes after the service ends. Coffee Team This team acts as another hospitable touchpoint by making sure fresh coffee is always brewing, keeping the coffee carts clean and stocked, and leaving no mints behind! Team members should arrive 30 minutes before service for the team huddle, and be in position until 15 minutes after the service begins. Parking Team This team helps people feel welcome the moment they enter our parking lot and makes sure that the process of parking and exiting is as smooth as possible! Team members should arrive 40 minutes before service for the team huddle, and be in position until 15 minutes after the service begins. Host Team This team is all about creating space and cultivating a welcoming environment in our auditorium where people can have the best worship experience possible. Team members should arrive 30 minutes before service for the team huddle, and be in position until 15 minutes after the service begins. Communion/Offering Team This team helps facilitate passing the offering buckets during our time of giving and pass the communion trays during our celebration of the communion table. We share in offering and communion every Sunday. Team members should arrive 30 minutes before service for the team huddle, head to position during the closing prayer of the music set, and return to their post during the closing prayer of the sermon. On-Boarding Process The best way to join the Connections Team is by filling out the form at bridge.tv/serve. Once you’ve submitted it, our team will reach out to connect with you, share an overview of what we do, answer any questions, and schedule a time for you to shadow. When you shadow, you’ll be paired with a friendly volunteer in your area of interest so you can get a feel for what a Sunday on the team is like. After that, we’ll follow up with next steps to help you get plugged in and serving!
