Serve
We believe in equipping the saints for the work of ministry—and that’s you.

Our mission here at The Bridge is to be with Jesus and become like Him for the sake of the world. When we say “for the sake of the world,” that’s our call to make a difference for the kingdom of God. We believe that knowing God is followed by sharing God with others, and serving on a team at The Bridge is one of the ways you can make a difference in the faith of others around you.
You are uniquely made with an equally unique impact to make. When you serve on a Bridge Team, you link arms with us on mission to reach the world for Jesus and create the future of the church for the next generation.
We’re better with you. Are you in?

Worship & Production
This team sets the table for everyone to encounter the presence of God and respond to Him through worship, including creative expression, congregational singing, scripture reading and prayer. Description of Ministry Each member of the worship team is committed to: Serving. To be a part of the team requires a willingness to serve wherever the need exists, across all campuses and ministries. Learn scheduled songs, preparing ahead of time and ready to play on Sunday (or Wednesday, if serving with Students). It isn’t just about memorizing arrangements, but internalizing truths we sing about God, the Gospel and the Church. Cultivating (honing) their craft; whatever their chosen instrument (s), a willingness to learn and grow is their default posture. Spending time with the Lord through personal bible study, prayer and worship. We cannot lead where we have not already been. Serving Opportunities Electric Guitar: Lead and/or Rhythm Drums: Full kit Keys Bass Gtr Acoustic Gtr Vocals: Lead and BGV Band Leading: Familiarity with Ableton, proficiency in numbers, memorization of arrangements and a pastoral heart for calling out the best in our team. With rehearsals and service times, a typical Sunday is about 8 hours in SH and 5.5 hours in Col. We know this is a big commitment. Being in the room, on time, prepared and ready to play is vital to the strength of our team, and one way we can honor each other best. On average, you will be asked to serve once or twice a month, but we will work with you on your preferences. In addition to regular Sundays, we plan quarterly all campus worship nights, as well as special services for Christmas and Easter. On-Boarding Process Every prospective member will be asked to participate in our Evaluation process, after which we will let you know whether we think you’d be a good fit for this area of ministry, or help you find another rewarding opportunity to serve. For your evaluation, we will provide you with two songs to prepare. At the scheduled time, we will have you lead those songs as you would for a regular worship service: Using pre-recorded band tracks, with in-ear monitors (with click and cues). Evaluations happen on the second Tuesday of each month (we pause for December and the month of Easter). To start the process, we ask that you fill out a short questionnaire found at https://www.dvlp.tv/ Its a way for us to get to know you a little better as you walk through this process.
