SNAP Response

Our vision here at The Bridge is to bring the gospel to every table. And that often starts with paying attention to the most basic needs our neighbors have.
Starting November 1st, 2025, 3,500 families in Maury County lost SNAP benefits. That means that 1 in 12 families in our community will struggle to have enough food on their table. We are partnering with one of our local missions partners, The Well outreach, to make sure EVERY table has enough.
One of their greatest barriers The Well has to serve more families is the food needed to do so and the space to receive and sort that food. The Bridge Spring Hill is working to become a collection and sorting site for food donations to The Well this next month. Here are ways you can help!
1. Serve
The Bridge Spring Hill: Becoming the collection site will take the hands of many to collect and sort donated items to keep the pantry shelves full at The Well.
The Well Mt. Pleasant: This location has the space and food to meet the needs of the community, but is lacking the critical volunteer power to connect with our neighbors.
2. Donate
With becoming a donation site, we will begin taking donations of non-perishable food items later this week. The Well has compiled a list of food items that are most impactful:
-
Cereal
-
Oatmeal
-
Flour/Sugar (2lbs)
-
Corn Muffin Mix
-
Canned Chicken/Tuna
-
Pancake Mix/Syrup
-
Chili Beans/Kidney Beans
-
Pasta/Canned Pasta Sauce
-
Toilet Paper/Paper Towels
-
Baby Wipes
3. Give
$30 feeds a family. Eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner one night this week and use the savings to provide groceries for a week for a family in our community.
Thank you, for being a church that lives on mission with us, bringing hope to the hungry.
