Mobile Food Pantry - The Well Outreach
Jeremiah 29:7 tells us to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I [God] have carried you into exile.” We recognize that we are permanent citizens of heaven but temporary citizens of our cities, called to bring forth restoration to broken areas. Love Local projects are a way we come together as a church to adopt a project that holistically (spiritually and physically) serves a key area that makes up our community.
Through Love Local projects, we link arms with our local missions and outreach partners, as well as deploy our Bridge Groups, to take on projects around our neighborhoods and communities to show the compassion of Christ.

PROJECT
Distribute 20,000 lbs of Food to Families in Need
On June 22nd, we’re working together with our partners at The Well to host a Mobile Food Pantry at our Columbia campus, Central High School. The Well Outreach serves over 1,000 families in Maury County each month through their walk-through food pantry, school JetPack program, and mobile distributions (like this!).
A Mobile Food Pantry is a half-day food distribution event that is an opportunity for families in need of food assistance to receive a grocery cart full of food items free of charge. There are no restrictions or requirements for anyone seeking food assistance—anyone is welcome to come until the groceries run out!
When you sign up to serve, you’ll be helping to assemble boxes and bags of items, loading groceries into cars, or offering prayer to those coming through for care. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your family or Bridge Group.
To bring the gospel to every table, we can start by helping people assemble a table. It is our prayer that over 250 families will gather around meals made possible through the Mobile Food Pantry.

Pantry runs from 8:00am - 10:00am (or until food runs out)
This project is recommended for ages 6 and up.
