"FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORLD"
In Acts 1:8, Jesus calls us to be witnesses "to the ends of the earth". Love Global is a one-day event where we come together to live that out as a church family, adopting a project that serves others across countries and continents. Simply put, it's local serving with a long-distance impact.

Through Love Global serve projects, we link arms with our global missions partners to take on a project that is most impactful when the global church does it together. We are able to steward our God-given resources to serve alongside a ministry or community that is making a global impact for the Kingdom of God.
UPCOMING PROJECT
Pack 100,000 Meals with Family Legacy
We’re partnering with our friends at Family Legacy—a ministry with a reach in Zambia. They run a system of schools there called Legacy Academy, which provides Christian education to over 10,000 vulnerable or orphaned kids in Zambia, as well as providing school uniforms, textbooks, school supplies, and more.
One thing they need to keep the schools running and the students healthy is a steady stream of food. Our Love Global project this April is a meal-packing event, when we'll come together to pack 100,000 meals to resource Legacy Academy students, and this is an opportunity for you to jump in with us to make that possible.

There are three key areas to serve with our meal packing event:

Set-Up Crew: Help us prepare the space for our event on Friday afternoon from 4:00-6:00p. This includes moving tables, setting out supplies, and taping down cables.
If you are able to lift 30 lbs and are looking for a Friday workout this would be a great spot for you!

Meal Packers: You will be stationed at a table for our meal packing event working as a team to assemble each meal.
If you have kids in your family over the age of 5 that want to serve on the assembly line independently, please sign them up!

Runners: We will need people who can help refill bins, load up finished boxes of meals, and help where needed.
This is for those who are able and willing to lift 30 lbs.

This event is recommended for ages 5+ and is great project for families and Bridge Groups to do together!
Please note that your child will be serving with you as childcare will not be provided.
