Love Local Project

READY TO SERVE TOGETHER?

On June 22nd, we’re working together with our partners at The Well to host a Mobile Food Pantry at our Columbia campus, Central High School.

When you sign up to serve, you’ll be helping to assemble boxes and bags of items, loading groceries into cars, or offering prayer to those coming through for care. This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your family or Bridge Group.

To bring the gospel to every table, we can start by helping people assemble a table. It is our prayer that over 250 families will gather around meals made possible through the Mobile Food Pantry.

Saturday, June 22nd

Check-in at 7:00am at Central High School

Pantry runs from 8:00am - 10:00am (or until food runs out)

In Jeremiah 29:7, we are urged to “seek the welfare of the cities” where we have been sent. Before we are ever called to change the world, we are asked to start on the ground beneath our feet and make a difference in the places we call home and for the people we call neighbors.

Love Local is an event where we deploy hundreds of volunteers across our cities to be the hands and feet of Jesus far beyond the walls of a church building. In Spring Hill, Columbia, and Franklin, we link arms to make our communities unmistakably marked by the love of God and His Church.

“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
