Our elders guard and shepherd our church family and staff, and they are a group of church members—both lay and staff—affirmed by our church family to serve.

Elders are responsible to model a Godly lifestyle, provide a prayer shield for the members, defend and protect the integrity of the church, pray for the sick, mediate disputes, counsel, and represent the church to the community.

ELDERS

ELDER UPDATE

We’re so excited to present Kris Krabill and Stone Meyer to our church body as our two new elder candidates. Please take some time to read about Kris and Stone's stories below!

Kris and his wife, Jamie, have been a part of The Bridge since 2012, having served as volunteer leaders in multiple capacities over the years on our Bridge Kids and Connections teams. Over the last year, Kris has been a part of our eldership process, after feeling a distinct tug to step out of his comfort zone, embrace a deeper commitment to discipleship, and serve with a unique sense of care for the church he has called his family, for over a decade.

Kris and Jamie are high-school sweethearts with two wonderful (and wild, as they’d say) boys named Fulton (6), Shepherd (3), and one more on the way. Kris is a local business owner, and whenever he can, he enjoys coaching his kids in the various sports they play.

We are thankful for the leadership Kris brings to his family, our community, and of course, our church. We are honored to recommend him for the high calling of eldership and believe he will bring compassion, wisdom, and stability to that team as he cares for and shepherds our church.

Stone and his wife, Brittney, have been a part of the Bridge family for 8 years! Stone and his wife started volunteering at The Bridge back in 2015, Stone joined staff in August of 2016, and currently carries the role of Executive Pastor of Worship and Creative.

Stone says that “[he] wouldn’t be pursuing eldership if it wasn’t for Godly men in [his] life who saw the calling in [him] and challenged [him] to walk it out.”

Stone and Brittney have been married for 10 years and have two sweet boys, Beckham (3), and Cade (2). He enjoys slow Saturdays with the family, smoking brisket, writing songs and riding dirt bikes.

Stone is looking forward to serving The Bridge in the role as an elder and honoring Christ and bringing him glory through it. We have seen Stone lead and pastor our church in so many ways over the years, and are honored to recommend him in this new capacity as an elder.

You can email elders@bridge.tv with any concerns that you may have with these men stepping into eldership.
